Lifting Up Jesus and Serving His Children in Africa

Hi! We are Doug and Tamara Schoch. Our journey in foreign mission service began in 2010 with our first trip to East Africa. A few short months later, in June 2011, we were invited to commit to full-time mission service at Kibidula in Tanzania. In 2018, we also began partnering with FARM STEW—supporting through trips to Uganda, remote assistance, onsite support, and translation of materials. It is a joy and privilege to share God’s love with the people we are blessed to work alongside and serve.

In 1792, as William Carey, the famous missionary from England, was about to sail to spend a lifetime in India, he recruited his closest friends in Christ to support him. He shared, “I will descend into the pit if you will hold tightly to the ropes.” Carey was willing to give his life away to reach the lost if his support team would pray, give, and keep him encouraged through correspondence. He did just that, and their partnership lasted for forty impactful years.
God has called us to give our lives to the foreign mission work. My question to you is this:
